Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with Legatus’ objectives and brand vision
• Create and curate engaging content tailored to specific goals and target audiences
• Manage and optimize all social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and marketing team to produce high-quality, on-brand content, including graphics, videos, and other multimedia assets
• Post content consistently and frequently to maintain an active and engaged presence on all platforms
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across social media channels, fostering meaningful interactions with our audience
• Stay up to date on social media trends, tools, and best practices, incorporating new strategies and features into our social media efforts
• Analyze social media performance metrics, track KPIs, and provide regular reporting and insights to inform strategy and decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to marketing and brand communication
• Manage and engage with our online community of members in our private member platform, Networks
• Build, design, and coordinate Legatus’ weekly emails to members
• Work directly with the Director of Marketing to plan and implement email campaigns
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in social media management or a related role
• Familiarity with online marketing strategies and tools, including social media management platforms and analytics tools
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)
• Passion for social media and a deep understanding of various social platforms, their features, and their audiences
• Experience building emails is a plus
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity standards
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
