Job Summary

The Catholic Media Association (CMA) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Membership Coordinator to join our team. The Membership Coordinator will be responsible for managing the membership database, recruiting and retaining members, and providing excellent customer service to our members.


  • Manage the membership database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Develop and implement strategies to recruit and retain members.
  • Provide excellent customer service to members, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate membership renewal process, including invoicing and follow-up.
  • Plan and execute membership events, including webinars and conferences.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement membership marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare reports on membership data and trends.
  • Coordinate the production of the Annual Membership Directory and Conference Program.
  • Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned by the Executive Director.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in membership management or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and membership management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the Catholic Church and Catholic media is a plus.

Employment Details

This is a part-time position, 21-24 hours per week, offering a flexible hybrid remote/office work environment. The Catholic Media Association office is in downtown Chicago, Illinois.
