Membership Coordinator (Hybrid)
Job Summary
The Catholic Media Association (CMA) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Membership Coordinator to join our team. The Membership Coordinator will be responsible for managing the membership database, recruiting and retaining members, and providing excellent customer service to our members.
Responsibilities
- Manage the membership database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Develop and implement strategies to recruit and retain members.
- Provide excellent customer service to members, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate membership renewal process, including invoicing and follow-up.
- Plan and execute membership events, including webinars and conferences.
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement membership marketing campaigns.
- Prepare reports on membership data and trends.
- Coordinate the production of the Annual Membership Directory and Conference Program.
- Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned by the Executive Director.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in membership management or a related field.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and membership management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the Catholic Church and Catholic media is a plus.
Employment Details
This is a part-time position, 21-24 hours per week, offering a flexible hybrid remote/office work environment. The Catholic Media Association office is in downtown Chicago, Illinois.
