Overview:
CatholicTech is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Intern to support our Marketing and Communications team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, branding, content creation, and social media management within an academic environment, all while living on our beautiful campus in Castel Gandolfo, Italy.
As a Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in supporting CatholicTech’s efforts to raise awareness of our academic programs, engage with prospective students, and increase the visibility of our institution. You will work closely with the Marketing and Admissions teams on a variety of exciting projects, giving you the chance to develop your skills in diverse areas of marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management: Assist in creating, scheduling, and managing content across CatholicTech’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Monitor engagement, respond to messages, and analyze social media performance.
- Content Creation: Support the creation of digital content including graphics, videos, blog posts, and newsletters that promote CatholicTech’s academic offerings, events, and initiatives.
- Marketing Campaigns: Help develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing and paid ads, to target prospective students and increase enrollment.
- Event Promotion: Collaborate with the team to promote on-campus events, webinars, workshops, and virtual open houses through various marketing channels.
- Market Research: Conduct research on trends in higher education marketing and competitor institutions, offering insights and recommendations for CatholicTech’s marketing strategies.
- Brand Development: Assist in maintaining CatholicTech’s brand identity across all marketing materials, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual representation.
- Website Support: Help update and maintain content on CatholicTech’s website, ensuring it remains engaging and informative for prospective students and visitors.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled/recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of Italian is a plus).
- Basic proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) or Canva.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Hootsuite, etc.).
- Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for higher education, marketing, and creativity.

Job Title: Video & Content Editor / YouTube POSITION OVERVIEW: Catholic Answers is seeking a skilled Video & Content Editor to support our daily Catholic apologetics program, Catholic Answers Live. This role is responsible for editing, optimizing, and posting video and audio content across multiple platforms, focusing on growing our reach and audience engagement on YouTube and other digital channels. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in video editing, content optimization, audience identification and nurturing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Run and Monitor Daily Livestream of Catholic Answers Live program:
- Oversee the daily video livestream of Catholic Answers Live.
- Ensure seamless streaming quality on YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, (embedded on Catholic.com) and X. Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise.
- Post-Show Optimization & Posting to YouTube
- Edit and optimize full episodes of Catholic Answers Live (CALive) daily.

- YouTube Channel Optimization and Maintenance
- Maintain and update the Catholic Answers YouTube channel.

- Track and analyze performance metrics on YouTube, X, Catholic.com and other relevant channels.
- Create reports to inform and support strategic growth decisions.
- Longform Interview Editing & Posting
- Produce, edit, and post monthly longform interviews for YouTube.
- Identify and edit clips from long form interviews, optimizing for YouTube and other platforms.
- Edit longform content to a 55-minute audio format suitable for radio syndication.
- Prepare and distribute audio files for aggregators, ensuring consistent quality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in video editing (Da Vinci Resolve, or Premiere Pro)
- Strong understanding of YouTube optimization techniques and best practices for online platforms
- Proven track record in growing online audiences
- Solid graphic design skills to create compelling thumbnails and visual elements

Overview of the Position:
The client advocate will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of social services promoted and provided by Catholic Charities of South Carolina. The client advocate provides direct client assistance for various needs and case management and advocacy for qualified individuals.
The client advocate will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the food pantry, clothing closet, save a smile program, clean of heart, emergency assistance, and other client services offered through Catholic Charities. The client advocate will assist in recruiting, training, and managing volunteers. They will work with community partners and other social service agencies to implement overall wellness for clients and coordinate assistance efforts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee and provide direct services to individuals and families, which include day-to-day operations of the wellness food pantry, clothing closet, Save a Smile dentures program, case management, emergency assistance, and special events.
- Conduct face to face and over the phone client intakes and assessments to determine needs, identify possible resources, and provide the appropriate services.
- Identify unmet needs and assist clients by providing case management and/or advocacy as needed.
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers along with Site Administrator.
- Work closely with Site Administrator on determining eligibility for client assistance, planning and coordinating special events and activities, and volunteer management.
- Accurately collect and enter data and notes into internal database, Microsoft Excel, and compile physical files and documentation of clients. Run internal data reports as needed.
- Stay up to date on community resources, updating and sharing resources accordingly.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with other social service agencies and informal support systems to coordinate assistance efforts and make any needed referrals.
- Consult with Site Administrator on program and special event/project development and planning.
- Responsible for primary contact of dental offices and other vendors re: invoices, payments, client appointment follow ups.
- Attend local agency meetings and trainings to discuss current developments, resources, and needs of the local community.
- This position requires independent discretion and judgment with respect to the delivery of social welfare services to individuals and families. Assess and analyze emergency situations and take prompt action. Maintain client confidentiality and privacy in compliance with applicable state and federal laws. Be sensitive to and communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Background & Experience:
- Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church
- Experience working within a social services environment or in a related ministry activity
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in related field required
