The University of Mary in Bismarck, ND is seeking qualified applicants for an Accounting Faculty position. This faculty member will teach undergraduate accounting courses. Workload will also include teaching entry-level and upper-level accounting courses (including tax) and advising undergraduate students pursuing a major offered through the Gary Tharaldson School of Business. This full-time, 8-month position will begin January 1, 2025. Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and rank.

Required Qualifications:
• PhD in accountancy preferred; Master’s degree in taxation, accountancy, business administration (with additional accounting) required

POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager of Austrian Enrollment is responsible for all aspects of recruiting students for our Austrian Program. Serves as primary contact for services provided to students, families and staff from main campus and serves as liaison between campus staffs. Also provides administrative assistance and support in the planning and development of current and new programs that meet the needs of our students.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit Franciscan students to achieve the goals established for our study abroad program in Austria. Includes responsibility for marketing, communications and budget.
- Provide customer service to families and students, giving an in-depth framework concerning the Austrian calendar and experiences. Includes hosting informational meetings on and off campus.
- Recruit students from other campuses (transients) to attend alongside our students. May include travel to other schools., conferences, or study abroad program fairs.
- Organize and execute visa application process, including collection of student information and passports, completion of paperwork, and scheduling appointments.
- Provide administrative support in planning programs and developing new ways to make the Austrian experience available.
- Serve as Liaison between Austrian campus staff and main campus.
- Serve as contact with Austrian government, Austrian Consulate in the U.S., visa processors, insurance and travel providers.

REQUIREMENTS

The Residence Director supervises Resident Assistants, coordinates residential programming, and responds to on-call situations as they arise. • This position requires a two-year commitment. Position responsibilities require the appointee to live in a small apartment located within one of the residential facilities that the RD is assigned to supervise. In addition, the University provides the RD and his/her spouse and minor children with a meal plan with the expectation that the RD will frequently eat meals with students in the Crow’s Nest and/or Marauder’s Cove.

Overview:
CatholicTech is seeking a passionate and organized Events Intern to support the planning, promotion, and execution of events at our campus in Castel Gandolfo, Italy. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management and marketing within an academic setting, while living on our picturesque campus.
As an Events Intern, you will work closely with the Marketing, Admissions, and Events teams to organize and execute a variety of events, ranging from on-campus workshops and conferences to webinars and virtual open houses. Key Responsibilities:

- Post-Event Follow-Up: Help gather feedback from attendees, monitor post-event engagement, and prepare reports summarizing event outcomes. Assist in analyzing data to improve future events.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with various teams across the institution, such as Marketing, Admissions, and Academic Departments, to ensure event objectives are aligned with broader institutional goals.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled or a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of Italian is a plus).
- Previous experience with event planning or coordination is a plus.
- Familiarity with event management platforms (e.g., Eventbrite, Zoom) and social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Canva).

Assistant/Associate Professor of Biology
The University of Mary invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor of Biology (commensurate with qualifications and experience) to begin September 2025. Candidates with expertise in any area of biology are invited to apply, and applicants with interests in wildlife or conservation biology are especially encouraged to apply. Primary teaching responsibilities for this position will include instructing majors and non-majors biology courses and courses in the applicant’s area of expertise. The ideal applicant for this position will have a leadership role in our active Wildlife Management & Conservation Biology Concentration (https://www.umary.edu/academics/pre-professional-programs/wildlife-management-conservation-biology-concentration). All applicants should understand, support, and advance the liberal arts, excel in teaching at the undergraduate level, and collaborate with current program faculty to develop a research agenda appropriate for participation by undergraduate science majors (www.umary.edu/SURVE).

Faculty Position in Philosophy
The University of Mary in Bismarck, ND invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Philosophy.
Areas of Specialization and Competence are open, but an ability to bring Aristotelean and Thomistic philosophy into fruitful dialogue with other philosophical traditions is a distinct asset. A Ph.D. in Philosophy is required by time of employment.
Applicants must excel in teaching, be committed to supporting formation outside of the classroom and have an active research agenda.
The position includes teaching in the seated undergraduate program and in the online graduate program of the Master of Arts in Philosophy/Master of Business Administration (see https://online.umary.edu/academics/masters-doctoral-programs/mba-ma-philosophy-dual-degree). The teaching load is a 4/4 with the possibility of summer teaching for additional pay.
