Job Title: Coordinator of Catholic Charities Operations Location: Peoria, IL Reports to: Director of Catholic Charities   The Catholic Diocese of Peoria is currently seeking a Coordinator of Catholic Charities Operations to serve the mission of Catholic Charities. About the Role As a Coordinator of Catholic Charities Operations, you will play a key role managing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of key Catholic Charities initiatives within the Diocese of Peoria. This includes oversight of the St. Nicholas Charity on Wheels Ministry, management of adoption and foster care records, liaison duties with regional offices, and communication oversight at the Mother Cabrini Center. The role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, a commitment to the Catholic Charities mission, and a capacity to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and diocesan leadership. What you Will Do
  • Coordinate and oversee the administrative operations of the St. Nicholas Charity on Wheels Ministry.
  • Management of Adoption and Foster Care Records
  • Regional Office Liaison
  • Communications Management for the Mother Cabrini Center
What you Need To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
  • Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Social Work, Pastoral Ministry, Theology, Philosophy, Business, or another Human Services-related field.
  • Ability to plan, execute, and oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Experience building and maintaining volunteer networks and community relationships.
  • Capable of evaluating operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and flexible in adjusting to ministry needs.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, inventory management software, and data entry tools.
Top Candidates Will Also Have
  • Commitment to Catholic social teaching and the mission of Catholic Charities.
  • Experience with volunteer coordination and community outreach.
Additional Details:
  • Full-time position with regular travel to regional offices.
  • Flexibility required to attend events or respond to urgent needs outside standard working hours.
