Position: 2nd-5th Grade Teacher
Location: Regina Angelorum Academy, On-site
Regina Angelorum Academy, a private Catholic school located on-site, is seeking a dedicated and passionate 2nd-5th Grade Teacher to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
– Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans for students in 2nd-5th grade, based on the school’s curriculum and in accordance with state and national standards
– Use a variety of instructional strategies to engage and challenge students, including hands-on activities, projects, and technology
– Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students, including those with special needs and English Language Learners
– Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect, kindness, and the Catholic faith
– Implement regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
– Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s academic and social-emotional development
– Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school-wide initiatives and events
– Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
– Continuously seek professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
– Teaching certification or eligibility for certification in the state of [insert state]
