Performance Responsibilites:
- Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
- Design and implement lesson plans that integrate Catholic teachings, liberal arts principles, and virtue education.
- Foster student’s intellectual curiosity, critical thinking skills, and appreciation for the humanities.
- Cultivate a sense of community and collaboration among students, parents, and colleagues.
- Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning experiences.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and character development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum, share best practices, and promote interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Practicing Catholic
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Appropriate certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Familiarity with the traditional methods of Catholic Liberal Education or a willingness to learn.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Singapore Math
- Dedication to a structured literacy approach of teaching reading and language.
