We are seeking a passionate third grade teacher who shares our commitment to Catholic values and the liberal arts. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of virtue-based education and demonstrate a dedication to nurturing the whole child.

Performance Responsibilites:

  • Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
  • Design and implement lesson plans that integrate Catholic teachings, liberal arts principles, and virtue education.
  • Foster student’s intellectual curiosity, critical thinking skills, and appreciation for the humanities.
  • Cultivate a sense of community and collaboration among students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and character development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum, share best practices, and promote interdisciplinary learning opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Practicing Catholic
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Appropriate certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Familiarity with the traditional methods of Catholic Liberal Education or a willingness to learn.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn Singapore Math
  • Dedication to a structured literacy approach of teaching reading and language.
  • A commitment to helping students discover their full potential academically, spiritually, physically, and socially
