Marketing Videographer

- Create videos from brief through delivery that elevate Franciscan University of Steubenville’s brand.
- Work in collaboration with other video team members to produce video marketing projects for a wide range of departments through on-site and in-studio productions.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications team members to develop engaging content for various audiences including prospective students, conference attendees, benefactors, alumni, and friends.
- Develop motion graphics for use in University video marketing efforts.
- Must have strong video editing skills and fluency in Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, and/or Avid Media Composer
- Experience working with cinema cameras such as the Canon cinema line, the Sony FS and/or FX lines, or similar, and/or mirrorless cameras
- Experience working with EditShare a plus
- Must be able to operate all types of video equipment and understand all aspects of video production, including postproduction, motion graphics, and audio production
- Competent writing and video producing skills
- Must understand and support the mission of Franciscan University
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high quality of work output
- The ability to work as a member of a team and the ability to work independently
- Must provide excellent customer service to stakeholders
- Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and professionalism
- Bachelor’s degree in media production, electronic media, film, TV, or related field
- In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, have strong work history and extensive experience in the creative video production field
- Knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith
- Minimum 3 years of experience in video production and marketing
- Minimum 3 years editing in Resolve, Premiere, or Media Composer
- Past careers could include Videographer, Video Producer, Video Editor, Creative Videographer
- Ability to carry 30-40 pounds of video equipment necessary
- Ability to sit or stand using a camera or in front of a workstation for long periods of time
- Occasional evening/weekend/off-hours work required
- Occasional travel required
