Saint Veronica’s team of educators strive to both personally exemplify and teach our students how to live their faith, be open and honest communicators, active members in our community, and responsible life-long- learners.   Job Description Saint Veronica Parish's school ministry is seeking qualified educator candidates for the following full-time teaching positions for the 2025-2026 school year: 4th Grade Homeroom, & 5th Grade Homeroom. Each of these teaching positions is primarily responsible for delivering academic instruction to the students corresponding to each homeroom.   Responsibilities ● Provide a positive, well-structured classroom learning environment ● Plan and present engaging lessons that promote student growth ● Collaborate with our community of faculty members & as part of a Grades 3, 4, 5 professional learning community ● Ability to integrate technology & hands-on projects as a teaching and learning tool ● Able to call students to a high sense of accountability; classroom management skills should provide flexibility for meeting diverse learning styles ● Ability to maintain professional communications with families ● Attend necessary meetings ● Serve in various school duties, as assigned by the Principal   Qualities: ● Practicing Catholic Preferred ● Supportive of the Catholic Ethos of the school, outlined in our Mission Statement ● Commitment to creating a supportive & engaging learning environment where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally ● Collaborative / Team-player ● Passion for supporting students as they strive to learn new skills ● Strong communication skills in relation to students, parents, colleagues, and administration   Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s Degree required ● A valid California Teaching credential (or a reciprocal credential from another state) at time of hire preferred.
