Overview:  Saint Joan of Arc Parish is seeking a passionate and mission-driven individual to serve as Coordinator of Family Evangelization and Discipleship (CFD). This full-time position plays a vital role in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and forming families to live out their faith in the context of daily life. • Foster a parish culture of family engagement through events, seasonal activities, and faith-building opportunities that complement the formation program.
  • Provide families with weekly resources and communications to support growth in discipleship, including liturgical living, prayer opportunities, and formation at home.
  • Collaborate with parish staff to plan and promote parish-wide initiatives for family prayer, including but not limited to Family Rosary, Eucharistic Adoration, and other devotions.
  • Recruit, train, and support catechists and volunteers with appropriate formation and resources.
  • Design and implement a small group discipleship model for parishioners of all ages, with a focus on relational evangelization and spiritual growth.
  • Develop and distribute promotional materials and personal invitations to encourage broad participation in small groups.
  • Ensure adherence to Archdiocesan safe environment policies, including CORI background checks and Protecting God’s Children training.
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings, ongoing professional development, and formation opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Pastor.
Qualifications:
  • A practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with a strong personal commitment to the mission of evangelization and catechesis.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in theology, Religious Education, Pastoral Ministry, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in family faith formation or parish ministry.
