Sports Missionary - Denver

League & Social Event Hospitality:
· Recruit volunteers who plan fun/engaging social events and help them implement the plan holding the events to Catholic Sports standards. Then market said events and invite broadly. This will include at least every other month (6/year) major social events (e.g. dances, tours, tournaments, picnics, etc.). And, smaller socials such as: movies, pickup sports, etc. should be planned on the off months from major social events.
· You will attend 1-3 leagues a week and invite participants to other events, Bible studies and generally work to build friendships and community in our ecosystem.
· Invite people from evangelistic events below to watch and help with hospitality at the above events.
· Talk with league leaders and captains to make sure the vision/mission are achieved and lived by all leaders.
Formation:
· Every missionary will lead at least one Bible study and disciple its participants with intentionality:
· They will also coordinate the regional Bible study volunteers and cast our vision for Bible studies to those leaders.
· Plan 3-4 all Bible study gatherings, including some formational events using our formation program.
Volunteer Recruitment & Management: Every missionary must work diligently at recruiting volunteers study leaders and growing the league outreach. The missionary will manage these volunteers and assist in the planning of an annual appreciation event.
Administration: Gather data on the success of the mission and review surveys from events for feedback on how to grow and improve our ability to reach others. Maintain professional communications with participants, leaders, and the staff.
