Description:  The primary role of an Admission Coordinator is to facilitate the successful enrollment of students to the undergraduate program. The Admissions Coordinator plays a crucial role in the recruitment and enrollment process, serving as a primary point of contact for prospective students and guiding them through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment. The Admissions Coordinator is the U.S.-based point of contact for prospective students, families, and supporters of CatholicTech. Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Institute at various recruitment events.
  • Reviews admission applications and admits eligible students
  • Interact with prospective students via various channels (phone, email, in-person) to provide information about academic programs, admission requirements, and campus life.
  • Manage the processing of admissions applications, including reviewing application materials, verifying transcripts and test scores, and ensuring all required documents are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Assist in the planning and executing of admissions events such as open houses, information sessions, and campus tours to attract and engage prospective students.
  • Visit high schools within assigned regions.
  • Provide guidance and support to prospective students throughout the admissions process, addressing questions and concerns and providing resources to help them make informed decisions about their educational goals.
  • Correspond with students regarding application status, upcoming events, and financial aid deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date communication records in Hubspot.
  • Host in-person information sessions with guests in Boston and virtual interviews with applicants.
  • Support large campus visit programs, including Research Competitions, High School Summer Programs, and Freshman Convocations.
  • Collaborate closely with other university departments, including faculty, development, and the student services office, to ensure a seamless transition for admitted students.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to developing and implementing best practices in university operations.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, communication, liberal arts, or related field.
– Previous experience in admissions, recruitment, or student services preferred.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse populations.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
– Proficiency in Google Suite and experience with CRM systems preferred.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
