Position: Barista

Wisper Coffee is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at our On-site location. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

– Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages

– Properly operate and maintain coffee equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders

– Take customer orders and handle cash/credit transactions

– Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests

– Maintain cleanliness and organization of work space and café area

– Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines – Assist with restocking and ordering of supplies

– Create and maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all guests

Requirements:

– Knowledge of different brewing methods and familiarity with coffee equipment

– Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle and address customer complaints or concerns

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently

– Our hours are going to be 7AM-5PM Fridays and 9AM-5PM Saturdays (subject to change based on when events are scheduled). Candidate must be available to work some portion of those hours

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– High school diploma or equivalent
