Catholic Institute of Technology is a STEM University that opened in September 2024 in Castel Gandolfo, Italy. Recent graduates of Newman Guide colleges have the unique opportunity to pursue a second Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering through the Cardinal Newman Fellowship, a prestigious, full-ride work-study program. Alongside their studies, Fellows participate in a Career Rotational program in which they gain valuable professional experience as they contribute to the development of the University through roles in Investments & Development, Marketing & Strategy, and Real Estate & Outreach. As a Fellow, you will engage in a dynamic work environment, contributing about 20 hours per week to the university’s growth and success. This role includes mentorship from CatholicTech staff, allowing you to cultivate essential professional skills that will prepare you for careers in industry, startups, or academia.
Additionally, Fellows serve as mentors to incoming freshmen, guiding them through their professional, spiritual, and personal development journeys. Fellows are leaders on campus as they take initiative in student life activities and bring their ideas into the establishment of campus traditions and growth of the University.
The Fellowship covers tuition, room and board, student fees and a monthly living stipend for the length of the program. This is an amazing opportunity to broaden your studies towards a career in STEM while growing professionally and immersing yourself in an adventurous, faith-filled community.
