We will rely on your writing skills for client brand messaging, blogs, emails, website content, ads, and video scripts. As a StoryBrand-certified agency, we use a specific framework to craft brand narratives—which we translate into successful website content. You don’t need to know StoryBrand yet, but we’re looking for someone eager and willing to learn and use it and other types of media. Our writers consistently bring together content strategy, stellar copy, SEO, and a knack for structuring content visually. Projects require thinking creatively, coming at copy from different angles, and wearing multiple projects hats. We prize attention to detail, sharp editorial skills, journalistic flair, and openness to constructive comments. 

At USDP, you’ll need to do more than simply write. We will ask you to contribute on client calls, present ideas, and communicate with clarity in a variety of situations. The ideal candidate delivers excellent copy as well as a positive attitude and an appetite for learning new skills.  

EXPERIENCE “MUST HAVE” LIST:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, journalism, communications or creative writing
• 3+ years writing experience in marketing
• Shareable examples of your work to showcase experience and skill
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects
• Strong content strategy ability and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of SEO/SEM practices
• 🔥 for writing
• Familiarity with website Content Management Systems (CMS)
