Full-Time – Director of Campus Ministry
Quincy University, a Catholic liberal arts institution in the Franciscan tradition, invites applications for the position of Full-Time Director of Campus Ministry.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the Vice President For Mission & Ministry / Campus Ministry team to develop and coordinate activities, events, and programs that have to do with spiritual formation, service, and fellowship. These include, but are not limited to:
- One on one discipleship
- On- and off-campus evangelization/dialogue
- Student athletics ministry
- Service projects
- Prayer and worship
- Community events
- Student leadership development
- Mentorship of student residential communities
- Retreats
- RCIA
- Collaborates with other departments to add a spiritual component to events and activities at the University
Requirements:
- Is a practicing Catholic
- Agrees and lives a life according to the teachings of Scripture and the Magisterium of the Catholic Church
- Demonstrates tact, respect, and good will in all interactions with those within the University Community and in public
- Is adaptable and willing to work odd hours (evenings, weekends)
- Is able to prioritize activities based on the needs of the people being served
- Promotes the mission of the University
- Lives an active life of faith (i.e., daily prayer life, sacramental life of Mass, Reconciliation, and time with Christ in the Blessed Sacrament)
- Has experience in Youth and Young Adult Ministry (3+ years preferred)
- Holds a Bachelor’s Degree
