This Director of Communications position earns a competitive starting salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 depending on experience and education. OUR IDEAL DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS

As Director of Communications, you’re responsible for providing outstanding planning and project management with a focus on executing macro and micro level plans. You demonstrate development of a robust advertising program that inspires new benefactors and donors. You generate annual marketing and communication plans that accelerate engagement. You take the initiative to implement your innovative ideas and put them into action, creating a vision that sparks excitement.

Showing adaptability to the variety of job tasks your role entails, you organize and manage your time to best fit the needs of the department. As a self-starter, you provide consistent work, focusing heavily on creation. You build relationships and foster collaboration with Holy Cross priests, brothers, and men in formation. You can be counted on to maintain a professional demeanor and to cultivate benefactor relationships to excel fundraising efforts to the Congregation. With efficiency and purpose, you remain calm under pressure when prioritizing multiple tasks. Your team appreciates how you proactively communicate and offer a positive attitude. You find great satisfaction in conveying a high level of communication and take pride in the quality of work you provide.

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in marketing, communication, graphic design, or a related field. Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience is required
Demonstrated proficiency with project management required
Proficiency in digital photography as well as video and audio recording are preferred.
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Friendly and professional demeanor
High degree of initiative and self-direction
Knowledge and understanding of the Catholic Church and clergy, experience working for a Catholic organization, and specific knowledge of the Congregation of Holy Cross, is strongly preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE FOR DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS
