Job description Joseph of Cupertino Classical Academy is now seeking a faithful and talented teacher to fill a part-time role for the 2025-2026 academic year for Humanities Core 7th/8th grade. Joseph of Cupertino Classical Academy is located in beautiful Irvine, California at St. Thomas More parish. The successful candidate will be a practicing Catholic willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium. Those with a love for the language of the Church, the Catholic faith, and Catholic liberal education are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities ●  Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote student learning in the humanities. ●  Utilize diverse teaching styles to accommodate different learning preferences and foster an inclusive classroom environment. ●  Mentor students by providing guidance and support in their academic pursuits, encouraging critical thinking and creativity. Qualifications ●  This position is a core teaching position with varied responsibilities beyond the scope of teaching. Candidates should have experience with Classical Education curriculum, having taught Ancient History, Literature, and Latin. ●  Proven experience in curriculum development and classroom management. ●  Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for lesson planning and assessment. ●  A Master’s degree or Ph.D preferred.
