Kidwell is seeking highly motivated individuals with backgrounds in commercial Electrical and Integrated Systems work to join our team as a Project Manager. This position will coordinate and lead our commercial & mixed use projects throughout all Kidwell market areas ensuring that they are completed accurately and effectively. This Project Manager will be trained on Kidwell methodologies and best practices, so that they can provide consistent and precise support to our field staff.

This team member will be managing multiple projects at once, so strong attention to detail and time management skills are required. Applicants must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with a passion to lead a team and job effectively. This position comes with extreme growth potential as we continue to expand our operations. This position will be based out of our Omaha office.

What You’ll Do:

Effectively plan, design, and manage electrical and/or integrated systems projects.
Manage and coordinate changes to project scope, always aiming to keep projects within the estimated budget and timeline.
Strategically plan – project and coordinate with the field team to ensure that proper resources have been allocated to allow for successful completion of a project.
Learn and follow Kidwell methodology to ensure consistency across projects. This includes suggesting improvements and finding new efficiencies within our current processes.
Strong computer skills using Blue Beam, Microsoft Programs, and accounting software preferred, but not required.
Collaborate with experts in each proficiency to manage projects from start up to closeout. This includes being able to follow current processes, understanding change orders, RFI’s, and other documentation throughout the project duration.

Do You Have What It Takes?

Previous experience managing electrical and/or integrated systems projects is preferred but not required
A high level of electrical and/or integrated systems knowledge is preferred but not required. Experience as an Electrician, Integrated Systems Tech, or other low voltage systems beneficial.
Communication skills that are strong, well developed, and informative.
Organizing and prioritizing multiple initiatives will be a daily piece of this role. The ability to use time effectively and meet tight deadlines is crucial.
