Job Title: Field Inspector
Job Description: We are seeking a Field Inspector to join our team. This role involves conducting thorough inspections of roofing and siding to assess damage and ensure compliance with insurance standards. The Field Inspector will report directly to the Field Team Manager and play a key role in the claims approval process by providing accurate, detailed inspection reports.
Responsibilities:
- Detailed Inspections: Perform comprehensive field inspections of roofing and siding, meticulously assessing damage and documenting findings to support insurance claims.
- Report Preparation: Compile clear and precise inspection reports, detailing the condition of structures and noting any damages that align with insurance claims.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all inspections meet company guidelines and industry standards, staying updated on any changes in policy or procedure.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Resolutions Department to provide necessary documentation for claims processing. Assist in the settlement of claims by furnishing detailed evidence from field assessments.
- Training Participation: Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance inspection techniques and stay informed about the latest industry standards and technologies.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as reasonably assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in construction, roofing, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings accurately.
- Good communication skills, capable of explaining technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and navigate various work environments.
- Familiarity with digital reporting tools and mobile technology for report submission.
