St. Theresa Catholic School Fourth Grade Teacher St. Theresa Catholic School has an opening for a Full-Time Fourth Grade Teacher for the 2024-2025 School Year. • Provide for the spiritual, moral, physical, emotional, and intellectual development of the children of St. Theresa Catholic School (STCS).
• Help live, instill, and motivate the Virtues and Mission of STCS.
• Maintain professional, charitable, cooperative and respectful relationships with all members of the STCS community.
• Serve as a homeroom teacher to include supervising during Mass and assemblies.
• Establish and maintain effective discipline.
• Be well-prepared for all assigned teaching duties.
• Carry out duties in a responsible manner regarding curriculum, co-curricular activities, safety, and other assigned tasks.
• Use technology and incorporate it in teaching and related duties.

Qualifications:

• Be deeply committed to the development of the faith life of students and dedicated to the ministry of Catholic Education.
• Have a Bachelor's Degree in elementary education or equivalent
• Hold appropriate Virginia or VCEA Certification and complete a child protection seminar (VIRTUS) prior to starting. 
• Hold Basic Diocesan Religion Certification or be eligible to obtain this certification within three years
