Description:

Emersion Intensives mission is to improve access to mental health services.  The Marketing and Event Coordinator is a key member of the team that will market and help produce mental health Intensives and will be integral to the success of the marketing and event management of the Intensive.  This is a job for the person that wants to make a big difference in the world, and in people’s lives, especially for those who are hurting. At Emersion Intensives, our events are three-to-ten-day intensive workshops of small cohorts of up to 16 people, led by emerging clinical leaders, in beautifully appointed rental homes throughout the county. Our Intensives are designed to be transformational for our participants. We can pack in a lot of opportunities for healing, which may be equivalent to spending months in therapy.

To be successful in this role, you will be friendly but always composed, even in times of stress.    You will have the organizational skills of a librarian, combined with the compassion of a peace corps volunteer. Having experience in the mental health industry, at some level, will be very helpful.

Activities

The areas of responsibility for this position include:

  • Marketing coordination
  • Participant (customer) relations
  • Event execution, logistics, and triage
  • Research and present ideas for facility, nature excursions, and creative expression
  • Database management

Specially this will include:

  1. Coordinate with marketing company to ensure execution of agreed operations
  2. Create marketing graphics, flyers, branding
  3. Amplify digital marketing messaging among social media platforms
  4. Research, identify, and maintain data on clinical leads, participants, and facilities
  5. Prepare participant therapy workbooks
  6. Develop quick rapport with prospective participants.
  7. Assist prospective participants with their decision to matriculate.
  8. Establish and implement tracking and other tools to measure customer satisfaction.
  9. Onsite execution of intensives to ensure a quality customer experience.
  10. Coordination of Alumni support to sustain recovery.

 

Requirements

 

  • Demonstrated expertise in event marketing and execution.
  • Demonstrated expertise in social media promotion and amplification.
  • Some experience in Canva or similar platform would be very helpful.
  • Ability to travel regularly and remain onsite for duration of Intensive.
  • Ability to stay cool under pressure.
  • Impressive organizational and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to maintain immaculate confidentiality and discretion.
