Overview:

CatholicTech is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Marketing and Communication Coordinator to join our team in Castel Gandolfo, Italy. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and execute marketing and communication strategies in support of our academic programs, events, and institutional initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in increasing the visibility of CatholicTech, engaging with prospective students, and strengthening our brand presence both locally and internationally. As the Marketing and Communication Coordinator, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Admissions, Academic Departments, and Events, to develop integrated marketing campaigns, create compelling content, and manage all aspects of communications for CatholicTech. You will have the chance to contribute to the growth and success of a leading educational institution, all while living in the picturesque town of Castel Gandolfo, just outside Rome.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy Development: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to promote CatholicTech’s academic programs, events, and initiatives. Ensure alignment with institutional goals and objectives.
  • Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation of high-quality content for various platforms, including the website, social media, newsletters, email campaigns, and brochures. This includes writing, editing, and ensuring consistency in tone and branding.
  • Social Media and Digital Marketing: Manage CatholicTech’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), including content creation, posting, and community engagement. Develop and execute paid advertising campaigns to promote academic offerings and events.
  • Event Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the Events team to plan and promote on-campus and virtual events. Develop promotional materials, manage event communication, and engage audiences through email and social media channels.
  • Brand Management: Ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity across all marketing and communication materials. Work to strengthen CatholicTech’s brand presence both online and offline.
  • Website and Online Presence: Oversee the maintenance and updating of content on the CatholicTech website, ensuring it is engaging, informative, and aligned with marketing goals. Monitor website analytics to track visitor behavior and optimize content.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and target audience preferences. Use insights to refine marketing strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Manage internal and external communications, including liaising with faculty, staff, and students. Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and communication updates.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, social media engagement, and event outcomes. Use data to inform decisions and continuously improve marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing and communications, ideally within higher education, non-profit, or corporate sectors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (fluency in Italian is a plus).
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer), email marketing platforms, and website content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva is a plus.
  • Ability to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize strategies.
