Every year, passionately Catholic young men and women from around the world come together to serve as NET Missionaries. They come wanting to grow in their faith, become true disciples, find a community that cares about faith like they do, and have the opportunity to live their discipleship daily.
Through NET’s training in discipleship and immersion in the Church fully-alive, missionaries learn how to effectively share the Gospel, what it means to minister and live in community, and how to feel confident in their ability to share Jesus Christ with the world. NET’s former missionaries have gone on to become bishops, priests, religious, ministry leaders, and faithful laypeople. Many of the leading Catholic voices in the Church today either served as NET Missionaries or were ministered to by NET Missionaries.
Together with 8-10 young adults, NET Missionaries travel across the country for nine months, sharing the Gospel with every person they encounter. Retreat teams lead over 100 retreats and personally encountering nearly 1,000 youth each year. Discipleship teams minister to hundreds of teens in a specific parish or school, helping them cultivate a deeper relationship with God and pursue lives of holiness. As a team, NET Missionaries support and encourage each other to grow in holiness as they work to inspire and guide the youth they serve.
