Date:  June 10, 2024 Position Available:  Outreach and Evangelization Manager of Logistics Position Reports to:  Outreach and Evangelization Director of Operations Department:  Office of Outreach and Evangelization FLSA Status:  Exempt Schedule:  Full-time; Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., some off-hours and weekends, as needed   Please apply online:  Franciscan University Staff Positions   POSITION SUMMARY The Manager of O&E Logistics is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of all logistical functions associated with the events and ministries affiliated with the Office of Outreach & Evangelization and with applicable FUS partnering entities.   PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Meet with all internal FUS departments and applicable off-campus vendors in the off-season to review logistics affiliated with the previous year’s events, as well as to discuss opportunities for improvement for the coming year.
  2. For the Steubenville Summer Conferences, oversee the planning and execution of all logistics, including: communication, inventory control, hospitality, logistics, student workers, food service, liturgy, security/EMS, and event production. Be present for and manage all aspects of Youth Conference program directing and prayer ministry services. Manage the off-site conference lanyard initiative.
  3. Field inquiries from external organizations and partners seeking to host an event on campus. Manage all aspects of these events, from initial contact through to successful completion, ensuring a seamless experience for both hosts and attendees.
  4. Coordinate and manage all reservation details for the CTT events space, encompassing both on-site and off-site entities. This includes the coordination of all logistical and A/V needs for each event, as well as the oversight of comprehensive pricing structures to align with market trends and organizational objectives.
