Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, part-time manager of academic support who has a love for working closely with underperforming students to achieve great results. The manager of academic support meets regularly with students with a variety of learning needs to assist them with executive functioning skills, homework, and communication with the goal of academic self-governance and academic development. This position answers directly to the headmaster and works closely with both the assistant academic dean and each students’ parents.
The candidate must be a practicing Catholic and willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium. Candidates ideally have previous experience both in teaching and in academic support, demonstrate excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, and possess a track record of contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field by the time of employment. Educational credits/licensure are ideal but not required, though candidates may need to work toward educational credits upon employment. Position offers a competitive salary and benefits and begins July 1, 2024.
