Date: December 5, 2023 Position Available: Online Enrollment Counselor Position Reports to: Executive Director of Online/Graduate Enrollment & Operations Department: Enrollment Management, Admissions FLSA Status: Exempt Schedule: Full-time; Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; must be able to work evenings and weekends, as necessary, especially during the summer; occasional travel, as required Please apply online: Franciscan University Staff Positions POSITION SUMMARY The Online Enrollment Counselor is responsible for making initial contact with inquiries and with providing thorough customer service throughout the entire admissions process and beyond. Occasional travel to outside sell at conferences may occur. Sales and customer service skills are a must. It is also important to be extremely efficient and a good problem solver. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make daily calls to new inquiries.
- Contact existing inquiries to discuss the application process.
- Contact applicants to assist them in completing applications.
- Contact admittees to assist with email setup, Blackboard setup, and Registration.
- Provide referral information to students regarding Financial Aid.
- Organize marketing and communications to prospects and applicants.
- Manage files and related documents

- Sales experience is desired.
- Customer service experience is desired.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Skilled in the use of social media as a marketing and community building tool.

- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as necessary, especially during the summer.
- Occasional travel, as required.
