Job Title: Project-Based Website Designer and Developer Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Website Designer and Developer to join our dynamic team on a project basis. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in WordPress, the use of theme builders (specifically Elementor), and the ability to optimize necessary plugins. This role requires a professional who can efficiently collaborate with the marketing and launch teams and who can self-manage the website development process from the design phase through to the pre-launch stage. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop websites to meet or exceed project requirements, ensuring both functionality and visual impact.
- Customize WordPress themes using Elementor to tailor interfaces and functionalities according to specific project needs.
- Integrate and manage APIs and plugins to extend website capabilities and improve user experiences.
- Optimize websites for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
- Perform comprehensive testing and troubleshooting to ensure website performance prior to handoff to the launch team.
- Collaborate effectively with the Director of Marketing and other team members to ensure strategic alignment and seamless transition of the website to the launch phase.
- Adhere to project timelines and manage deliverables to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of professional experience in website design and development, with a robust portfolio showcasing completed projects.
- Proficiency in WordPress and extensive experience with Elementor theme builder.
- Strong competency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Demonstrated ability in handling complex website integrations and technical challenges.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Access to high-quality technology and a stable internet connection for remote work.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to creating functionally and visually engaging websites.
