We seek a seasoned Construction Project Manager, imbued with a spirit of service, to guide the construction of monasteries for Carmelite Hermits.
Stewardship and accountability: The chosen candidate will be entrusted with the duty of overseeing every facet of the project, ensuring alignment with adherence to budget and schedule, while prioritizing client satisfaction.
In service to others: This role demands not only managerial prowess but also daily/ weekly communion with consultants, contractors and artisans, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration sought in the construction of these holy sites.

Skills/Responsibilities:
- Ability to support the development and implementation of schedules for highly complex, multi-venue projects, phasing, and property-wide programs
- Experience with green field construction projects – from land use permit all the way to project close out.
- Field experience a plus
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Entrepreneurial with a self-starting personality; track record of taking initiative, producing quality work, and meeting tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task and effectively execute in a fast-paced work environment
- Detail oriented with a focus on delivering high quality results
- Ability to work and communicate professionally and effectively with others at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to take on tasks with a high level of complexity
- Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
- Continuous improvement minded; understands business processes to identify opportunities for improvement
Required Experience/Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited four-year college or university (in rare exceptions education can be mitigated by proven, applicable experience)
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction project management processes and purchasing/contract management
- Demonstrated expertise with finance (budgets, cash flows, etc.) and best business practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project (Epicor experience a strong plus)
