Job Description:
As our STEM Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of our students by:
- Designing and delivering engaging STEM curriculum and hands-on activities aligned with state standards and Catholic values.
- Fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
- Integrating Catholic teachings and values into STEM lessons, emphasizing ethical responsibility and stewardship.
- Collaborating with classroom teachers to incorporate STEM concepts across the curriculum and enhance interdisciplinary learning experiences.
- Providing professional development and coaching support to classroom teachers to strengthen their STEM instructional practices.
- Assessing student progress and adjusting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Cultivating partnerships with parents, community organizations, and industry professionals to enrich the STEM learning experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM field, or related discipline
- Valid teaching certification/license.
- At least 2 years experience teaching elementary students, preferably in a Catholic or faith-based educational setting.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing hands-on, inquiry-based STEM lessons.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
