The Pines Catholic Camp seeks a summer intern for the Dallas Office to assist with summer administration and operations. This position is ideal for college students, but anyone who is interested in a part-time, seasonal position is encouraged to apply! We anticipate this position to work 20-25 hours per week.

Responsibilities: 

Parent Communication: 

  • Answer phone calls from parents and address their inquiries. 
  • Respond to parent emails, providing accurate information and addressing questions promptly.

Summer Camp Waitlist Management: 

  • Assist in maintaining an accurate waitlist for summer programming. 
  • Communicate with parents on the waitlist to provide updates about availability.

Forms and Payments: 

  • Follow up with parents with missing forms and/or outstanding payments. 
  • Ensure all necessary information and materials are included in information packets. 
  • Assist in coordinating and operating weekly bus check-in and check-out on Saturday and Sunday. 

Database Management

  • Clean up records in our database system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

 

Qualifications:

  • Enthusiastic and reliable individual with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to handle phone calls and emails professionally and efficiently.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working with databases and systems
  • Availability to work a few hours on weekends for bus check in and out during the camp season.
  • High School Diploma
  • Safe Environment training and certification through the Diocese of Dallas
    (will be provided if needed)

 

Additional Information: 

  • This is a part-time internship position.
  • The internship may involve occasional evening or weekend hours during peak camp periods.
  • Training and support will be provided to ensure the successful completion of responsibilities.
