Position: Teacher at Villa de Marie Academy (On-site)
Villa de Marie Academy is a private, faith-based school dedicated to providing a challenging and nurturing educational environment for students. We are located on a beautiful campus in On-site, where we serve students from Pre-K to Grade 12. Our mission is to prepare students for a lifetime of learning and service, rooted in Christian values.
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our faculty at Villa de Marie Academy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in education, a love for teaching, and a commitment to fostering the growth and development of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Design lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards
- Implement effective teaching strategies and utilize a variety of instructional materials to meet the needs of all students
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve
- Communicate regularly with parents and stakeholders to provide updates on students' academic and social development
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
- Participate in faculty and professional development meetings and workshops
- Adhere to school policies and guidelines to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification/license
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in a private or faith-based setting
- Knowledge of educational technology and its integration into the classroom
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with children and a strong commitment to their academic and personal growth
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students
