KNOM is a Catholic community radio station broadcasting from Nome, Alaska. With more than five decades of air time, KNOM is the oldest Catholic radio station in the United States. We're here to share faith, inspiration, news, and engaging community programming with listeners in Western Alaska. KNOM country extends from the Yukon Delta and Nulato Hills to the Bering Strait, covering numerous remote villages. The station is privileged to serve as a vital communications service, a place for community engagement and conversation, and always: a faithful friend and companion over the radio waves.
