Our Lady of Walsingham

Our Lady of Walsingham was founded in 2021 in response to the lack of a solid Catholic liberal arts school in Colorado Springs. Although originally started as a Chesterton, OLW is now an independent Catholic liberal arts prep school which focuses on preparing the minds of students by a rigorous look at many of the Great Books. Using mostly original texts and the Great Books lexicon, our classes are led using the Socratic Method- students a guided by the teacher to analyze a text carefully to see what the author is saying and then assess its truth. We have a variety of classes which are all integrated and required, including Latin and Greek. The students study Theology and Philosophy seriously and graduate well prepared for a liberal arts college.
