Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church is a reverent, fruitful, and orthodox parish serving the residents of Hillsdale County within the Diocese of Lansing, Michigan. Founded in 1853, it remains the only Catholic Church in Hillsdale County, and provides a place of worship, service, and prayer for a large rural area with dynamic parishioner demographics. As a parish, St. Anthony's prioritizes reverent Masses, access to the sacraments, faithful small-town community, service to large families with quality youth faith formation, service to our poor, and growth in personal holiness for everyone who exists within our parish boundaries.
Our parish has seen an influx of parishioners as new families join our town, current families grow (our youth faith formation has jumped from 150 to 250 students in half a decade), and many converts find the fullness of the faith here at St. Anthony's (we see 20-30 people enter into the Catholic faith here ever year). We now serve hundreds of students from nearby Hillsdale College via a unique collegiate ministry, provide all three levels of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd to hundreds of children, and continue to meet the needs of long-time families and new parishioners alike. Our administration is prayerfully growing alongside our families, and we're seeking excellence as a life-giving, mission-oriented, and professional place to live and work.
