St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church is a reverent, orthodox, and fruitful parish serving the entirety of Hillsdale County in the Diocese of Lansing, Michigan. As a church, we prioritize pious celebration of the Mass, access to the sacraments, right teaching, christian community, service to the poor, and growth in personal holiness for all within our parish boundaries. Founded in 1853, St. Anthony is still the only parish in the county, and thus serves dynamic parish demographics. We have many young and growing families, have hundreds of children enrolled in youth faith formation and our homeschool co-op, serve the faithful students of nearby Hillsdale College, and minister to a rural area with long-time parishioners of all ages.
Through the work of the Holy Spirit, our parish has been quickly growing due to large families, new residents seeking a faithful community, and many converts (20-30 every year on average) joining the Catholic Faith at St. Anthony’s every year. Our administration and leadership are prayerfully growing alongside our families, and we’re earnestly pursuing a vision of an excellent, professional, and virtuous place of employment aligned with the fullness of the Catholic Tradition.
