St. Cecilia Academy

St. Cecilia Academy is a private all-girls Catholic high school owned and operated by the Dominican Sisters of the St. Cecilia Congregation in the Diocese of Nashville, Tennessee.

St. Cecilia Academy is unique in Nashville and greater Middle Tennessee. Founded in 1860, we are the oldest continually operating school in the city. St. Cecilia Academy is many things: Catholic. Dominican. College preparatory. All girls. Grades 7-12.

Our school is a rich blend of age-old wisdom and dynamic discovery, where learning and laughter coexist happily. St. Cecilia is a community where girls from diverse backgrounds discover a home not just for four years, but for life.
