St. Cecilia Academy is unique in Nashville and greater Middle Tennessee. Founded in 1860, we are the oldest continually operating school in the city. St. Cecilia Academy is many things: Catholic. Dominican. College preparatory. All girls. Grades 7-12. Our school is a rich blend of age-old wisdom and dynamic discovery, where learning and laughter coexist happily. St. Cecilia is a community where girls from diverse backgrounds discover a home not just for four years, but for life.
