Job Title: Client Advocate
Overview of Role:
You will have a significant impact on saving the lives of babies and strengthening families by counseling women and couples in crises pregnancies. The Client Advocate meets directly with clients to provide information on abortion and life-affirming support. The Client Advocate owns the relationship from intake to one year following the birth of the child with the clients in their caseload.
Major Goals:
1. Quickly create rapport to build trust with clients in an unplanned pregnancy circumstance who have an abortion mindset to explore life-saving options
2. Ask effective questions to determine mindset with ability to actively listen and then communicate information in a way the client can most openly receive it, meeting the client where they are in their pregnancy journey
3. Respond with a sense of urgency to rapidly changing pace in meeting scheduled appointments and walk ins. Time is of the essence when clients may be considering abortion as an alternative
4. Accepting that not all clients will accept life-saving options despite your best efforts
Job Functions:
• Perform pregnancy testing according to Center protocol. Accurately records results
• Review client intake forms and conduct initial client intake meeting
o For those testing negative, offer a retest and initiate conversation regarding options if pregnant in the future
o For those testing positive, assess those at risk for abortion and identify needs of the client and options available
• Conduct abortion-information session sharing appropriate pregnancy options to reduce risk of abortion
• Develop relationship of trust and compassion with client being an advocate for her needs
• Create a plan with access to resources and material goods based on her unique needs and situation
• Provide ongoing support (in person and via telephone) as clients approach their due date through one year following delivery
• Assist client in preparing for birth of baby including but not limited to:
o Access to pre-natal care
o Adequate nutrition
o Safe housing
o Maternity clothing
o Materials needed for infant care
• Research and provide appropriate referrals to clients who need services beyond what the center provides
• Coordinate and assist with our parenting program (STAR)
• In a timely fashion, accurately maintain confidential records in client relationship management (CRM) database system for each client within assigned caseload
• Resolve routine issues, establish work priorities, and make decisions within established guidelines and authority
• Assist in writing and sharing client stories for foundation newsletter, brochures, website, etc.
General Requirments:
• General working hours are Monday – Friday, 8:55 am – 5:00 pm with limited absences/tardiness
• Attend occasional webinars and training
• Frequent travel as this position rotates between Centers (e.g., Philadelphia and Bucks County PA)
• General office position requiring significant visual effort and involves assignments requiring significant levels of concentration and sitting for extended periods of time
• Interacting with general public and a diverse population including pregnant women and their family who may accompany them

Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington, VA is seeking a full-time school counselor for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants must have a Masters Degree in School Counseling and be a practicing Catholic, dedicated to serving and supporting students in their development of the whole person. Ruah Woods Psychological Services (RWPS) has one immediate opening and multiple possible
openings for later in 2024.
RWPS is the healing branch of Ruah Woods Institute, developer of the world’s first K-12 Theology of
the Body Curriculum. The mission of RWPS is to integrate the best of psychological science and the
truths of the Catholic faith to empower men and women to more fully embrace and live out their
vocation to love.
The immediate opening is for a full-time therapist based in our main office in the Western Hills area of
Cincinnati, OH. The therapist will enjoy office space on a beautiful, wooded property. They will have
access to the Blessed Sacrament and Mass onsite. They will work collaboratively with other Catholic
mental health professionals who are actively pursuing professional excellence and to increasingly infuse
their work with the truths of the Catholic faith. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with

The ideal candidate would have a passion for excellence in marital therapy, ideally using the
Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy model as well as an ability to work clinically with children and
families using relational, expressive, systemic, and/or depth-oriented approaches.
Additional characteristics and qualifications include:
• Graduate degree in mental health practice.
• Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Ohio to practice psychology or a related mental
health profession.
• Extensive knowledge of and formation in Catholic anthropology, morality, and spirituality.
• Proven clinical skills with a wide range of patient populations.
• Generally operates from a relational, depth-oriented approach to psychotherapy but is able to
integrate skills and interventions from a variety of models.
• Training, experience, and interest in (at least some of the following, the more the better):
o Marital therapy (Emotionally Focused Therapy preferred)
o Child & Family therapy (e.g., play therapy, attachment-focused therapy, etc. )
o Adult therapy for anxiety disorders
o Adult therapy for complex PTSD
o Adult therapy for behavioral addictions
• Life-long learner with a passion for professional development and increasing competence.
• Highly motivated self-starter who can cultivate and actively maintain a caseload entailing at
least 26 hours per week of direct clinical service.
• Strong commitment to practice according to current ethical and legal standards.

Saint John Vianney Center is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time position of Clinical Psychologist to assist with our Outpatient Program. The ideal candidate will conduct psychological assessments on men desiring to enter seminary or the permanent deaconate program, and individuals seeking to enter religious life and serve as a therapist for a caseload of clergy and religious. Must be able to maintain complete and detailed client records meeting all documentation requirements established by federal, state, city, and oversight bodies.
Qualifications:
• Doctoral degree in clinical psychology.
• Currently licensed in psychology to practice in Pennsylvania.
• If not licensed, must have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and complete a one-year internship program.
• If licensed, be a member of or willing to become a member of the Psychological Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT).
• Ability to work occasional Saturdays if needed.
• Must possess strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Catholic clergy and religious preferred.
• Familiar with Catholic anthropology and culture.
• Ability to travel locally and overnight when necessary.
