Electrician II
The University of Mary in Bismarck, ND is seeking qualified applicants for an Electrician II. The Electrician II must be a registered apprentice electrician whose functions are primarily directed at installing and maintaining electrical systems and performing internal electrical projects. The successful candidate will have background in the installation of commercial electrical systems.
Candidates will be invited to demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities Include:
• Installation of electrical projects, to include installation of all necessary electrical materials including high voltage, low voltage, HVAC/controls, and other facility electrical needs.
• Installation, programming, and maintenance of electrical systems, including but not limited to access control, HVAC controls, camera systems, lighting controls, etc.
• Perform electrical maintenance and preventative maintenance activities to support campus repairs and community needs.
• Other duties as assigned to support community needs.
Desired Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience include:
• High School diploma or GED required
• Upholds and supports the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary
• Supports the ongoing implementation of Ex Corde Ecclesiae, the apostolic constitution on Catholic colleges and universities
• Builds a culture of ready and earnest hospitality in the Office of Physical Plant and throughout the university, in accord with Saint Benedict’s admonition that all be received as Christ
Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Ability and knowledge to bend and install conduit systems
• Ability to pull and terminate low voltage conductors (less than 50V)
• Ability to pull and terminate conductors 51V-480V
• Thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipment, installation, troubleshooting, etc.
• Demonstrated experience in installation of commercial electrical projects
• Demonstrated experience of systems installation and controls
• Highly safety conscious and the ability to follow all necessary safety standards

Economics Faculty – GTSB

GTSB Economics Faculty Member
The University of Mary in Bismarck, ND, invites applications for an undergraduate Faculty Member for the Gary Tharaldson School of Business for the teaching of Economics. The Faculty Member is primarily responsible for teaching at the undergrad level, both traditional delivery and online modality. Additional duties can be in the area of master’s courses, and in our doctoral courses (as qualified). Advising students in the GTSB will also be a part of this position. Faculty member will serve on at least one GTSB or University committee.
This position shares the academic responsibilities and privileges of a full-time faculty. All faculty are expected to demonstrate a willingness to support and advance the Christian,
Catholic and Benedictine mission and identity of the University of Mary (see
http://www.umary.edu/about/mission/missionidentity.php).
Responsibilities Include:
Teaching undergrad economics courses in that major/minor degree;
• Assisting with the revision and development of curriculum;
• Oversight of the program, as director and advising students in the GTSB;
• Participating in assessment, program review, and accreditation processes;
• Assisting with Master’s level and Doctoral level courses, dissertation chair or committee work (as qualified);
• The Faculty Member Position assists Enrollment Services with the recruitment efforts for GTSB traditional and non-traditional UG and Grad programs;
• Continues to develop professionally through involvement in scholarship, creative
work, meetings, conferences, workshops, and courses;
Qualifications and Requirements Include:
• Earned terminal degree in a field related to those offered within the School
A Doctorate in Economics is preferred
• Evidence of the Development of a Scholarly Research Agenda
• Experience teaching undergraduate or graduate level courses in Economics
• Experience Chairing Dissertation Committees and sitting on dissertation committees

Lead Tutor Job Description
In keeping with the mission of Regina Caeli Academy, the tutor’s primary responsibility is to provide an educational environment in the Catholic tradition in which the students are challenged by word and example to become saints.
Tutors lead classes from PreK-4 through 12th grade and commit to coming prepared to each RCA class, communicating with parents, and receiving the support of the local and home office administrative staff:
- attend all summer training dates and required tutor training calls/meetings
- read and adjust the RCA gradebook if required per grade (Lesson Plans are accurate)
- keep accurate grades in FACTS SIS
- document student behavior as requested
- Update FACTS SIS gradebook each Tuesday by 2pm
- follow the tutor guidelines/tutor resource manual that is provided
- participate in specials (1st – 6th grade: art, music, drama, PE)
- actively seek out assistance with questions or difficulties in a timely manner
- provide detailed lesson plans for substitutes in case of absence
Because RCA follows the St. John Bosco method of preventative discipline and a collaborative approach to education, lead tutors also commit to
- remaining with their assigned students throughout the day according to the hours defined in the Employee’s contract
- exhibiting a joyful flexibility as needed for subbing or combining classes
- attend all staff meetings (at the center and on-line when needed)
- check email daily during syllabus weeks and respond to all emails no more than 24 business hours after receipt
Upper School (7th-12th grade) tutors additionally:
- available by appointment only for brief tutoring calls on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- attend graduation
All RCA staff at the local center:

- sign and uphold the Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Magisterium
- agree to and wholeheartedly support the media and modesty policies
- this includes observance of the RCA staff dress code
- live out and help students to meet RCA’s behavioral standards (as per the Family Handbook)
- arrive promptly and ready to work according to contracted times
- are willing to substitute tutor or combine classes as needed due to staff illness or absence
- relate with the administration, other tutors, staff, students, and parents in a way that fosters mutual respect
- follow RCA’s time-tested methods of classroom management and child safety practices
- maintain neat, orderly, and organized facilities
- remove all items in Family Folders at the end of each workday
